Teeming with newfound potential, Dublin’s own three-piece band Princess recently hammered out a track which is quickly gaining traction. Oozing with a shoegaze gloss that mirrors a tinge more lyric-heavy My Bloody Valentine, although dropping much of the reverb. At the coming of the chorus, a thick cloud of fuzz scratches down your eardrum until a burst of soothing vocals trickle in like a shot of aloe vera. The sudden breaks carry a turbulence, rocking back and forth, switching from spirited outbursts to mollifying riffs, amounting to a feedback-full conclusion.
No word on anything more coming from Princess, though “Neverlook” can be heard just underneath.
