Despite never losing his credibility, Alex Cameron hounds the industry for letting him go – something that should never be done. Apart from operating as Seekae’s drummer/vocalist, the Sydney performer poses to be a new generation’s electro-David Bowie. With last year’s impressive Jumping The Shark LP, Cameron is steadily proving he’s worth the ground he stands on, capable of being an immovable object even as he depicts himself to be a rare thespian. His steadfast key playing and percussion own up to a sound acquired from music old and new, although his dynamite vocals are maybe the greatest trait in his pocket.
Pop should always sound this way. Expect more from Mr. Alex Cameron as his second record is being wrapped up as we speak. “The Comeback” is the first featured track off his upcoming album, which has no expected time of release as of yet.
